Attorney Michael Aknin brings to the firm more than 25 years of extensive operational and legal experience within Israel’s law enforcement system. His unique combination of experience as a senior criminal investigator and his current role as a prosecutor enables him to offer clients a sharp, strategic, and uncompromising approach to managing complex legal proceedings. Since 2022, Michael has served as a police prosecutor, appearing daily in the Magistrate’s and District Courts in Be’er Sheva. His experience in managing evidence and appearing before higher courts provides him with exceptional skill in handling legal crises. Between 1999 and 2021, Michael served as an investigator with the Israel Police. Over two decades, he conducted investigations in serious crime, violent offenses, and juvenile matters—experience that grants him a rare ability to analyze evidence, identify investigative failures, and build winning defense or prosecution strategies. Adv. Aknin trained at “Cantor Co.,” where he acquired expertise in managing insolvency and enforcement cases, integrating his investigative knowledge in asset tracing and managing complex collection proceedings. Adv. Aknin is a “field operative” in the deepest sense of the term. His intimate familiarity with police procedures, rules of evidence, and prosecution work enables the firm to provide legal counsel based on a realistic understanding of the balance of power vis-à-vis state authorities.
